Who can live at The ReZident?
The ReZident welcomes applications from any full-time student registered at a recognised tertiary education institution. You’ll enjoy it the most if you are looking to optimise your varsity experience for academic success and a comfortable lifestyle.
What security structures are in place at The ReZident?

The ReZident Lover’s Walk was designed with multi-faceted security solutions for your peace of mind and safety.

The ReZident shares a border with the President’s residence (currently housing the Deputy President of South Africa), putting it in the vicinity of their 24/7 foot patrol. On-campus locality (stretching from Middle Campus down to Lower campus) also puts it within UCT’s safety zone patrolled by USCID security.

We have CCTV cameras on every apartment, in the basement and at both vehicle & pedestrian access points, as well as full perimeter electric fencing and 8 on-site security guards on foot patrol.

Each apartment features state-of-the-art biometric access door locks.
